A new single by Jeff Hughell (Six Feet Under) has just been released on all streaming services, featuring 3(!) bass players and some other amazing guests!
Six Feet Under bass player Jeff Hughell got in touch and asked if I'd be willing to play some guest fretless solos on his new single, which was going to include 3 bass players - the other being my friend Brandon Michael of Allegaeon, who Virvum toured with in 2018 on the Ne Obliviscaris tour (when the NeO guys asked me to join Vipassi)!
The song also features the outrageous guitar playing of Matias Quiroz (Bleak Flesh) and Travis Zupo (Broken Glass Sanctuary) on drums.
If that wasn't enough, the sax(!!) on the song is by the amazingly talented Jørgen Munkeby of Shining (Nor), who has also done a ridiculous number of incredible guest appearences!
I recorded all the tracks with my Carillion 6-string fretless with Bartolini pickups and Rotosound RS66 roundwound strings, straight into my Focusrite interface.
